Emma Rogers Flannery, age 94, of Cedar Grove Road in Irvine, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her home following a short illness. She was born May 12, 1930, in Estill County, and was the daughter of the late John Beckley and Cfrona Stewart Beckley. She was a Homemaker and had lived in Estill County for most of her life. Emma served the Lord for many years. She loved her family and gospel music, and she was always helping others. She is survived by:
1 daughter: Faye Richardson (Glenn) - Irvine
1 son: Howard Rogers (Debra) - Irvine
4 grandchildren: Larry Glenn Richardson, Darrell Rogers, Ashley Rogers, and Sara Stringfield
9 great grandchildren: Trey Richardson, Cole Rogers, Ty Rogers, Hailey Richardson, Hailey Rogers, Josiah Richardson, Nolan Stringfield, Logan Richardson, and Emory Stringfield
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, of 37 years, Lloyd Rogers, her second husband, Clarence Flannery, 1 son, Avery Rogers, 4 sisters, Eliza Noe, Fannie Noe, Lizzie Couch, and Louise Johnson, 6 brothers, Anzel, Elbie, Ward, Omer, Eddie, and Willie Beckley, and 1 grandchild, Donnie Rogers
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 26, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Webster and Bro. Brant Jones officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
