Obituary for Emma Katherine McClain
Emma Katherine McClain, age 91, of White Oak Road in Irvine, passed away Friday, August 18th, at the Compassionate Care Center. She was born December 28, 1925, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Russell Alfred Sr. and Helen Fries Augustine. She was a homemaker and a member of the River Drive Christian Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Maynard Ralph McClain. She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Anna K. Puckett (Roger) Irvine Virginia Marie Elmore (Bill Gibson) Burnside 2 Sons: Lawrence R. McClain (Barbara) Florida Lewis M. McClain (Terry) New Mexico A Sister: Betty Rollins West Virginia 8 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren In addition to her Husband, she is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Ernest G. Augustine and Russell 'Bud' Alfred Augustine Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Monday 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Paul Groves. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday. Burial services will be conducted Tuesday 10 AM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
