Obituary for Emma Frances Tipton
Emma Frances Tipton, age 79, of White Oak Road in Irvine passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, at her home following a long illness. She was born February 16, 1938 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late James and Callie Case Fielder. She was a retired Carhartt, Inc. employee and a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by: Her husband: Leslie Elwood Tipton 1 Daughter: Kathy Ann Withers ; husband, Leslie Irvine 1 Son: Donald R. Tipton ; wife, Sandra Irvine 4 Sisters: Mary Powell Irvine Geraldine Crowe Irvine Lois Arthur Irvine Diane Willis Irvine 2 Brothers: James Fielder Richmond Darrell Fielder Irvine 4 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Teresa Gail Estes, 1 sister, Elizabeth Crowe, 1 brother, J.W. Fielder and 1 grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 12, 11 AM at the Mt. Carmel Christian Church by Bro. Mark Pearson. Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 10 AM Thursday at the Church.
