Obituary for Elva D. Snowden
Elva D. 'Sodie' 'Tink' Snowden, age 73, of Maple Street in Irvine passed away Friday, April 24, 2015, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital after a long illness.He was born May 26 1941 in Estill County and was the son of the late Samuel Todd and Rosa B. Crowe Snowden.He was a retired mechanic and a former member of the Army National Guard.He had lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Mildred 'Doll' Neal Snowden 1 Son:Christopher Todd Snowden Estill Co. 1 Sister:Laura Faye Mean Powell Co. 1 Brother:Jasper Snowden Estill Co. 4 Grandchildren:Mathew Todd Snowden, Timothy Aaron Snowden, Bradley Scott Neal and Shannon Paige McKinney He was preceded in death by 3 sons; Timothy Wayne Snowden, Randy Lynn Neal and Ronnie Harold Neal, 1 brother, Hubert Snowden and 2 grandchildren, Ashley Renee Snowden and Derrick John Neal Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 27, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Pallbearers:Steve Young, Danny Clowers, Russell Barnes, Mathew Snowden, Timothy Snowden and Chris Snowden
