Obituary for Elsie M. Johnson
Elsie Mae Thacker Johnson, age 89, of Main Street in Beattyville passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Lee County Care Center after a long illness. She was born May 15, 1922 in Estill County, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Callie Dickerson Thacker. She was a former cook at Cedar Village Restaurant and was a member of Williams Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Johnson. She is survived by: One Son: Ronnie Hart and wife, Vickie, South Carolina One sister: Mildred Stamper, Paint Lick, KY Three Brothers: Kenneth Thacker, Fairborn, OH Jimmy Thacker, Furnace, KY Glen Roy Thacker, Cynthiana, KY 2 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Beverly Arvin. Burial will be at Mountain Springs Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
