Obituary for Elsie Campbell
Elsie Alice Gamble Campbell, age 96, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Terrace in Berea, KY. She was born March 15, 1917 in Estill County, KY and was a daughter of the late Kendall and Klista Sloan Gamble. She was a homemaker and lived in Chicago most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Campbell. She is survived by: One Daughter: Geraldine Schatz, Chicago, IL One Sister: Edna Burns, Richmond, KY Two Brothers: Edward K. Gamble, Richmond, KY Jerald Gamble, Covington, KY In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters: Thelma Cary and Margie Vaughn; and three brothers: Robert, Shiloh, and Martin Gamble. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, August 16, 1 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens by Rev. Warren Toler.Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
