Obituary for Edna Tuggle Jones
Edna Tuggle Jones, age 83, of Ashton Drive in Lexington passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at her home following a long illness. She was born March 29, 1928 in Irvine, KY, a daughter of the late William Riley and Mattie Isaacs Tuggle. She was a housewife and had lived in Lexington most of her life. She was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omar Jones. She is survived by: Two sons: Donald R. Jones and wife, Dana Knoxville, TN Steve Jones and wife, Evelyn Richmond, KY One Daughter-in-law: Lynn Jones Winchester, KY One Brother: Carols Tuggle and wife, Florence Greenville, SC 5 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Grandchild She was preceded in death by one son: Roger Dale Jones; four brothers: George, Robert, Gene and Leonard Tuggle; one half-sister, Mary White; and one half-brother, David Tuggle. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Ron Davis and Bro. Todd Layne. Burial will be at Campbell Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Thursday at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
