Edna Shuler, age 87, of Pineway Avenue in Irvine, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born October 24, 1938, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Walter Shuler and Mollie Gross Shuler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gum Springs Church of God. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Shuler, and she is survived by:

Cynthia Neal - Irvine
Nellie Rogers - Irvine
1 sister: Shirley Wofford - Indiana
2 grandchildren: Jennifer (Tim) Banks and Melissa Hamilton
2 great grandchildren: Alexander Banks and Connor Banks
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Irene York and Gladys Bellamy, 2 brothers, Lonnie Shuler and James Shuler, 1 grandchild, Marc J. Hamilton, and 2 sons-in-law, Marc Hamilton and Walter Neal
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 7, 2 PM, at the Gum Springs Church of God with Bro. Glendon Woosley officiating. Burial will be at the Crowe Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 12 PM Wednesday at the Church.
