Edna H. Blankenship, age 93, of Barnes Mountain Road in Irvine passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at her home following a long illness.She was born October 1, 1919 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Alice Bicknell Harris.She was a retired GM employee and had lived in Ohio most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel Blankenship.She is survived by: Her step-son:Don Blankenship Dayton, OH 5 Grandchildren:Danny Ray Cole Richmond Terry Lynn Tucker Michigan Brian Keith Rawlins Ohio Brucie Rawlins Ohio Benita Rawlins Ohio 2 Step-Grandchildren:David Blankenship Ohio Angela Blankenship Ohio 5 Nieces and Nephews Special Caregivers:Dean ; Alice Faye Arvin Mike Arvin Special Friends:Norman ; Ann Buscher Ohio Jane Brown Ohio She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Elwanda Hazel Cole, 1 son, Winferd Bruce Rawlins, 3 sisters; Alma McAfee, Ollie Pace, Dixie Reedy, 5 brothers; Virgil, Carl, Walter, Mitchell and Willy Harris and 1 grandchild, Tony Kirk Cole. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, March 7, 1 PM at the Campbell Cemetery by Bro. Beverly Arvin.Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
