Obituary for Edna C. Burns
Edna C. Burns, age 84, of Friend Drive in Irvine, passed away Friday, November 18th, at The Terrace in Berea, following a long illness. She was born February 17, 1932, in Estill County, a daughter of the late Kendal and Clista Slone Gamble. She was a convenience store clerk and had lived in Madison County for the past 30 years. She was a member of the River Drive Christian Church. She is survived by: A Daughter: Anna Sue Webb Carrollton, KY 1 Son: Donnie Burns Louisville 2 Brothers: Edward K. Gamble Richmond Gerald W. Gamble Independence 1 Grandchild 2 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Elsie Campbell, Thelma Kerry, Margie Vaughn; 3 Brothers: Thomas, Shiloh, Marvin Gamble; and 2 Grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted Monday 12 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Warren Toler with burial to follow in the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 AM Monday until service time.
