Edgar Clifton Woods, age 92, of Maryland Avenue in Winchester, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Windsor Care Center in Mount Sterling following a short illness. He was born June 18, 1933, in Estill County, and was the son of the late John D. Wood and Bertha Stevens Wood. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Bundy Tubing Corp., and he attended the Christview Christian Church. He had lived in Clark County for most of his life. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Donna Woods Walters, 5 sisters, Dovie Tuttle, Ailleen Harrison, Mary Ella Freeman, Alice Wood, and Mattie Wood, and 8 brothers, Alfred, Ambrose, Bill, Clarence, Willis, Lewis, Oneal, and Harold Wood.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 4, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Christopher officiating. Burial will be at the Woods Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
