Earl Wayne Bishop Sr., age 78, of Wisemantown Road in Irvine, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehab Center following a long illness. He was born July 18, 1946, in Estill County and was the son of the late Charlie Bishop and Rena Camden Bishop. He worked in Drywall and Construction, and he was of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Red Lick. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Penelope Faith Bishop, 1 son, Earl Wayne Bishop Jr., 4 sisters, Evelyn, Amy, Frances, and Joanne, and 4 brothers, James “Buck”, Dennis, Russell, and Roland “Paul” Bishop.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, November 10, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Bishop officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 to 1 PM.
