Earl Ersel Romans, age 92, of Doe Creek Rd. in Irvine passed away Saturday at his home following a short illness.He was born November 14, 1921 in Carter County, the son of the late Jesse Carter and Mary Lee Wilson Romans.He was a minister and a retired state worker with the road department.He had lived in Estill County for the last 8 years and was a member of the Ravenna Church of God.He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Elliott Romans.He is survived by: 6 Daughters:Rosetta Cyrus (Mike) Estill Earlene Owens (Bruce)Scott Co. Debi Abbott (Gary)Scott Co. Coni Morgan (Andrew)Estill Doni Hudson (Rick)Columbus, OH Vikki Hall (Scott)Fayette Co. 3 Sons:James Romans (Debi)Zanesville, OH Daniel Romans (Suzi)Scott Co. David Romans (Debbie)Carter Co. 20 Grandchildren Numerous Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 Daughter, Sherry Romans; 1 Son, Robert Romans; and several Brothers and Sisters. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday,2 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Mitchell Tolle with burial to follow in the West Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday at the funeral home.
