Obituary for Dwight Rison
Dwight Rison, age 68, of 3rd Street in Ravenna passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at the Compassionate Care Center following a short illness. He was born August 2, 1947 in Franklin County and was the son of the late Earl and Rachel Embry Rison. He was retired from Carhartt, Inc. where he had worked for 41 years and was a former member of the National Guard. He was a member of the Millers Creek Church of God and the Fitchburg Masonic Lodge. He is survived by: His wife: Mary Stella Horn Rison 1 Son: Stephen Dwight Rison Estill Co. 5 Sisters: Louise Rogers ; husband, Carl Louisville Elizabeth Fielder Ohio Barbara Sue Albritton Florida Blanche Miller Estill Co. Ida Mae Ashcraft Estill Co. 1 Brother: Clarence Rison ; wife, Shelia Estill Co. Sister-in-Law: Barbara Rison Special sister-in-law: Eva Lou McIntosh Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Katherine Cornelius and 2 brothers; Johnny and Tracy Rison. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 19, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Merle Travis. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
