Dorothy Marie Crowe, age 83, of Reese Street in Irvine passed away Monday, December 30, 2013, at her home following a long illness.She was born April 17, 1930 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Tobe Hackett and Mayme Powell Broaddus.She was a homemaker and a former Westinghouse employee.She was a member of the Richmond Primitive Baptist Church and had lived in Estill County all of her life.She is survived by: Her husband of 57 years:James Herbert Crowe 2 Daughters:Donna McClanahan Crow Estill Co. Angela K. Crow Lexington 1 Son: James David Crowe ; wife, Lori Alabama 6 Grandchildren:Ralph E. 'Mac' McClanahan, III, Adam R. Benton, Brett D. Benton (Dana) Cody McClanahan Abney (Josh), Bradley A. Stepp and Bronwen O. Crowe She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Barbara Allen Benton, 1 son, Robert Lewis 'Butch' Benton, 2 sisters; Mildred Langan Whiddon and Mary Langan Delamater and 1 brother, Earl Daniel Broaddus. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 2, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Officiant Larry Stone.Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
