Dorothy Della Gray Case, age 85, of 3rd Street in Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born September 25, 1939, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Edward Gray Sr. and Della Matthews Gray. She retired from the Estill County School System where she worked as a cook and was a member of the Gum Springs Church of God. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenville Case, and she is survived by:
1 daughter: Tonya Case (Bobby) - Estill Co.
2 sons: Stephen Case (Jennifer) - Rockcastle Co.
Jeffrey Glenn Case (Tina) - Estill Co.
3 sisters: Betty Lou Shepard - Estill Co.
Darlene Sparks - Ohio
Patricia Maddox - Ohio
6 grandchildren: Virginia Ketron (Jon), Ashlee Case, Laura Case, Clay Case, Logan Newkirk, and Ashley Newkirk
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Christine Miller, Virginia Steel, Myrtie Tipton, Geannie Witt, Teddie Mae Arthur, and 2 brothers, Marion Edward Gray and Tommy Gray
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 22, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Les McIntosh officiating. Burial will be at the Gray Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
