Doris Jean Hall, age 85, of Turpin Ridge in Irvine, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. She was born July 4, 1939, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Dallas Riddell and Mildred Sewell Riddell. She was the manager of Hall’s Stop and Save and she was a member of the Providence Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hiram Hall, and she is survived by:

Pamela (Jim) Young - Estill Co.
3 sons: Darrell (Lou Ann) Hall - Estill Co.
Jerry (Kim) Hall - Estill Co.
Kevin (Sandy) Hall - Estill Co.
11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Jewel Dean Hall, and 1 brother Orlon Riddell.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 8, 1 PM at the Providence Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Vanwinkle and Bro. Tim Roberts officiating. Burial will be at the Turpin Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Providence Baptist Church Life Center or the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond
