Donald Ray Abney, age 78, of Pine Street in Irvine, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at his home. He was born May 1, 1946, in Estill County and was the son of the late George W. Abney and Susie Neal Abney. He was a Mechanic and had lived in Estill County for all of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Abney, and He is survived by:
2 grandchildren: Jessica Abney - Fayette Co.
Hannah Abney - Estill Co.
3 great grandchildren: Blue Thomas, Sunny Thomas, and Ezmae West
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by 1 son, Donald George Abney.
