Obituary for Dennis Edward Watson
Dennis Edward Watson, age 76, of Watson Ridge Road in Ravenna, passed away Friday, December 18th, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington following a long illness.He was born June 2, 1939, in Estill County, a son of the late Herman and Lanie Watson Watson.He retired from the US Army where he served in the Vietnam War and was a member of the Vietnam Veteran Association.He also retired from Camp Burnamwood where he was the camp manager and he had lived in Estill County most of his life.He is survived by: His Wife: Anna Lois Stamper Watson 3 Sons: Michael Kevin Watson Ohio Joey Dwaine Watson Estill Co. Darren Edward Watson Estill Co. 2 Sisters: Beatrice Sparks Indiana Margaret Jewell Daley Ohio 2 Brothers: Glenn H. Watson Estill Co. Audry Watson Ohio 6 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Orpha Shaffer and Anna Lee Tipton, and 1 Brother: Otis Watson. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Merle Travis with burial to follow in the Cobb Hill Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
