Darrell Wayne Muncy, age 73, of Jake Street in Richmond, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond following a long illness. He was born August 19, 1952, in Estill County, and he was the son of the late Frank Muncy and Betty Tipton Muncy. He was the owner of Wild Cody’s Guns and Pawn, and the previous owner of the Willow Green Boat Dock. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Josh Shawn Muncy and Darrell Wayne Muncy II, 1 sister, Mary Nelle Rawlins, and 1 brother, Frankie Muncy.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 24, 1:30 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Richardson officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
