Darlene Ferne Eastham Carson, age 84, a resident of the Irvine Health ; Rehabilitation Center passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011, at the Center after a long illness.She was born August 18, 1927 in Dewitt, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Joseph Zelmer Eastham and Nettie Alice McClellan Eastham Wilson.She was a retired nurse's aide at the Lakeside Nursing Home in Ft. Thomas, KY.She was a member of the Ivory Hill Baptist Church and had lived in Estill County for the past 13 years.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Carson.She is survived by: 3 Sons:James Edward Horn, Jr. and partner, Victor San Francisco Thomas Ray Horn and wife, Virginia Irvine Joseph David Horn and wife, IsabelSan Benito, TX 1 Brother:George Eastham and wife, Betty Sharonville, OH 6 Grandchildren:Natasha Valasek, Sean Horn, Seth Horn, Cristine Horn, Coleman Horn ; Catherine Horn 1 Great Grandchild:Nolan Valasek She was preceded in death by 1 son, Robert Joseph Horn. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 28, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Keith Sands.Burial will be at the Floral Memorial Garden in Taylor Mill, KY.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
