Dana Mays Brady, age 73, of Cherokee Court in Irvine, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the Baptist Health in Lexington following a long illness. She was born September 15, 1949 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ica Caldwell Mays. She was a retired Lexel Imaging employee and a member of the South Irvine Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bruce Brady, and is survived by:
1 daughter: Leah Michelle (James) Winkle - Estill Co.
1 sister: Lana Mays (Mike) Horn - Estill Co.
2 grandchildren: Abby Lynn (Jordan) Martin and Emma Kate Winkle
1 nephew: James (Hannah) Horn
1 great nephew: Bennett Horn
1 niece: Laura Mays
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Herbert Mays.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, March 28, 6 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Horn officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM.
