Obituary for D.B. Henry
D.B. Henry, age 87, of Chestnut Stand in Irvine passed away Monday, November 17, 2014, at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center following a long illness.He was born September 4, 1927 in Estill County and was the son of the late Herbert and Edna Tipton Henry.He was a retired civil servant and a veteran of the United States Army.He was a member of the White Oak Church of God and had lived in Estill Co. most of his life.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Castle Henry.He is survived by: 1 Daughter:Carol Lafferty Paintsville 1 Sister:Pashie Blocker South Carolina 9 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren 7 Great-Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Sandra Weaver and 1 son, Donald S. Henry. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 20, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Larry Frymyer.Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
