Cornelius Arthur, age 83, of Cow Creek Road in Ravenna, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his home following a short illness. He was born January 30, 1940, in Estill County and was the son of the late Everett “Eb” Arthur and Myrtle Crowe Arthur. He was a logger and the owner of Arrowhead Enterprises. He was a member of the River Drive Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carole Arthur, 1 sister, Geneva Arthur, and 3 brothers, Frank, Everett Jr., and Gerald Arthur.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 21, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie Watson officiating. Burial will be at the Crowe Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, from 6 to 9 PM.
