Obituary for Clifton C. Callahan
Clifton Carlton Callahan, age 84, of Wagersville Road in Irvine passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014, at his home following a long illness.He was born December 20, 1929 in Estill County and was the son of the late Robin P. and Aleen Johnson Callahan.He was a custodian with the Estill County School System and Eastern Kentucky University and was a former member of the National Guard.He was a member of the Wagersville Pentecostal Church and had lived in Estill County most of his life.He is survived by: His wife: Jo Carolyn May Callahan 4 Daughters:Tenia Callahan King Dayton, OH Lisa Callahan Hock Huber Heights, OH Donna Tipton ; husband, Ronnie Ravenna Dianna McKinney ; husband, Dewey Irvine 3 Sons:Bo Callahan ; wife, Diane Irvine Rusty Callahan Irvine Bobby Callahan ; wife, Bernice Ravenna 11 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 daughter-in-law, Faith Callahan, 2 sisters; Mayfra Isaacs and Stella Marcum and 1 brother, Rollie Callahan. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 20, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose and Bro. Beverly Arvin.Burial will be at the Callahan Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
