Obituary for Clarence B. Mattox
Clarence B. Mattox, age 76, of Reese Street in Irvine passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016, at the Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana following a long illness. He was born September 4, 1940 in Harrison County and was the son of the late Joseph Henry and Ona Fryman Mattox. He was retired Bundy Tubing employee where he had served as President of the UAW Local 1937. He was a member of the Rice Station Christian Church. He is survived by: His wife: Mary Nell Henry Mattox 1 Daughter: Angie Wright ; husband, Ricky Cynthiana 2 Sons: Dwayne Mattox ; wife, Shirley Memphis, TN Mark Mattox ; wife, Melissa Georgetown 2 Step-Sons: Gregory Bryant ; wife, Teresa Lee County Kevin Bryant ; wife, Michelle Madison Co. 3 Sisters: Jenny Porter, Linda Spence and Annie Antrobus 6 Grandchildren: Anthony (Sarah) Mattox, Jon Michael (Kara) Mattox, Rachel (Jake) Carr, Amber (Timothy) Burgess, Tyler Wright and Sarah Wright 4 Step-Grandchildren: Matthew (Phoebe) Bryant, Caleb Bryant, Jeremy Carroll and Joseph Bryant 7 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 28, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 AM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
