Christine Powell Moore, age 95, of Dry Branch Road in Irvine, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born June 29, 1930, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Andy Powell and Sally Larrson Powell. She was a Homemaker and attended the Ravenna Nazarene Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Moore, and she is survived by:

Ricky Moore - Estill Co.
Freddie Moore - Estill Co.
1 sister: Barbara Sparks - Indiana
1 brother: Paul Jr. Powell - Indiana
Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 4 sons, Billy Ray Seals, Johnny Moore, Marcus Moore, and Russell Moore, and 9 brothers and sisters
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 2, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Neal officiating. Burial will be at the Sonny Powell Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
