Christine J. Tipton, age 86, of Winchester Road in Irvine passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long illness.She was born September 3, 1929 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Dillard and Mamie Rucker Jones.He was a former Square D employee and a member of the Hargett First Church of God.She had lived in Estill County all of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Tipton.She is survived by: 2 Daughters:Mary Walling ; husband, Tommy Estill Co. Carolyn Coffey ; husband, Wayne Montgomery Co. 2 Sons:David Tipton ; girlfriend, Jennifer Walters Estill Co. Scotty Young ; wife, Chrystal Clark Co. 3 Sisters:Virginia Ruth Williams Estill Co. Dorothy Richardson Estill Co. Ruby Thacker Estill Co. 9 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren Special friends:Rosemary Capo and Shannon Fisher She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Joyce Ann Tipton, 2 sisters; Mattie Barnes and Sarah Gross and 3 brothers; Raymond Jones, Tracy Jones and Junior Toler and 1 grandchild, Thomas Lambert. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 4, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Forest Turpin and Bro. Larry Frymyer.Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
