Obituary for Chester Cole, Jr.
Chester Cole, Jr. went to be with the Lord on December 27th, 2017 at Central Baptist Hospital after a short illness. Chester Cole, Jr. was born in Estill County on October 17th, 1943. He was the son of the late Chester and Mary Ethel (Withers) Cole. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He retired from Leggett and Platt. He also worked and owned a service station. Chester Cole, Jr is survived by his wife Barbara Morefield Cole of 46 years in addition to 3 sisters; Doris Fortney (Wendell) of Waco, KY, Lydia Harrison (Elmer Dallas) of Irvine, KY, Carolyn Baber of Irvine, KY and a twin brother, Lester Cole (Barbara) of Irvine, 2 brothers; Norman Cole (Emmaleen) of Waco, KY and Kenny Wayne Cole (Kelly) of Lexington, KY. Chester Cole, Jr. is proceeded in death by a brother, Carl Cole; 2 sisters, Sally Cole, and Shirley Epperson. Honorary Pallbearers are Wendell Reed Fortney, Lester Darren Cole, Randall Harrison, Chris Cole and Jeff Moreland. Pallbearers will be Clinton Wayne Fortney, Tyler Cole, Caleb Cole, Brandon Hall, Russ Dotson, Brad Hall and Adam Morefield. Funeral Services will be conducted at Warren F. Toler's Funeral Home on Sunday at 2 PM with burial to follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call between 6-9 PM on Saturday.
