Obituary for Charles "Sonny" Arnold Horn
Charles 'Sonny' Arnold Horn, age 77, of Front Street in Irvine, passed away Wednesday at his home following a long illness.He was born March 28, 1938, in Estill County, a son of the late Arnold and Lennie McQuinn Horn.He was a retired machinist with South East Coal Company and had lived in Estill County most of his life.He attended the Greenbriar Baptist Church.He was a member of the Irvine Masonic Lodge and the Oleika Shriners.He was preceded in death by his Wife, Barbara Roberts Horn.He is survived by: 1 Daughter: Betty Ann Horn Estill 1 Son: Charles Wayne Horn (Laura) Estill 3 Sisters: Fay Mayse Crestwood, KY Gertrude Goe Spokane, WA Brenda Norman Estill 2 Brothers: Rodney Horn Estill Merle Horn Estill In addition to his wife, he is also preceded in death by: His Grandparents, Simpson and Mary Elizabeth Fike Horn; 2 Sisters, Mary Jones and Ruby Keith Horn. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the South Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
