Obituary for Charles & Barbara Williams
Charles Thomas Williams,71, and his wife, Barbara Kate Williams, 69, of Hood Avenue in Irvine passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. Charles was born May 14, 1946 in Clark County and was the son of the late Charles Jr. and Alma Berry Williams. He was a retired Trane Co. employee and had lived in Estill County most of his life. He attended the White Oak Church of God and formerly served as pastor of the Chavis First Church of God and Flemingsburg First Church of God. He is survived by a sister, Nancy (Mike) Held. Barbara was born April 13, 1949 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Scottie Riddell Neal. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by 4 sisters; Clara Donahue, Hester White, Essie Gordon and Roetta Hackworth. She was preceded in death by 3 siblings; Edith Hall, Myrtle Miller and Norman Neal. Charles and Barbara were preceded in death by their daughter, Rebecca Mae Williams and are survived by their son, Anthony Thomas (Tonya) Williams and 1 grandchild, Hannah Mae Williams. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 21, 11 AM at the White Oak Church of God by Bro. Glennis Sizemore, Bro. Glyndon Woosley and Bro. David Watson. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Tuesday at the White Oak Church of God.
