Cecil Jay Wilhoit, age 82, of Allen Street in Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born December 22, 1942, in Owen County, and was the son of the late George Willis Wilhoit and Bertha Perkins Wilhoit. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was a retired Security Guard and also worked as a Truck Driver and Sheet Metal Fabricator. He had lived in Fayette County for most of his life. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, George, Charles, and Roy Wilhoit.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
