Carolyn Moss Lee, age 79, of Ruby Lane in Irvine, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond following a long illness. She was born March 18, 1943, in Hamilton, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Harmon and Velma Agee Moss. She was a former Administrative Assistant for the EKU Religion and Philosophy Department and attended the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. 7 grandchildren: Jennifer Lee, Jocelyn Warner, Bethany Pratt, Cheyenne Lamb, Joseph Robert Lee Jr., Megan Lee, and Jacob Kyle Lee
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son, Randy Lee, 1 brother, Curtis Moss, and 1 grandchild, David Nelson Lee III.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, January 19, 7 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Barnes officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home.
