Obituary for Carlie J. Barnes, Jr.
Carlie John Barnes, Jr., 75, of Winston Road in Irvine passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at his home. He was born September 7, 1936 in Estill County and was the son of the late Carlie John Barnes and Maudie B. Wood Barnes. He was a retired construction supervisor with Wagner Construction and had lived in Estill County all of his life. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wives, Wanda Joyce Webb Barnes and Mary A. Puckett Barnes. He is survived by: One Daughter: Cheryl Chaney and husband, Paul Estill Co. Two Sons: Mike Barnes and wife, Lisa Estill Co. Jeffrey Barnes Estill Co. Two Sisters: Jo Arvin Estill Co. Irene Barnes Estill Co. Five Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by one grandson, Daniel Rose; one sister, Lorene Rose; and one brother, John Barnes. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Bill Meese. Burial will follow in the Turpin Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Michael Barnes, Corey Barnes, Ryan Chaney, Robbie Clark, Kevin Shearer, Dan Rose, Kenny Webb, and Mark Rose. Honorary Pallbearers: Smokey Woods, Melvin Wiseman, Jr Webb, Billy Webb, Bobby Rose, Trina Graham, and his nephews.
