Obituary for Calvin Arvin
Calvin Arvin, age 56, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at his home on Webb Road, following a short illness. He was born June 12, 1956 in Garrard County, KY and was a son of the late Nathaniel T. Arvin III and Margaret Johnson Arvin. Mr. Arvin was a construction worker and lived in Estill County all of his life. He was a member of Rice Station Christian Church and the American Legion. He is a Marine and a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Arvin is survived by: His wife: Tammie Sue Arvin One Daughter: Samantha Jane Arvin, Estill County Two Sons: Calvin Dewayne Arvin (Keisha), Estill County Anthony Scott Arvin (Michelle), Estill County Four Sisters: Vickie Hunter, Berea, KY Mary Ann Willis (Bobby), Estill County Ruby J. Emmert, Estill County Betty Lunsford, Estill County Two Brothers: Nathaniel Arvin, Jr., Wisconsin Tony Arvin (Karen), North Dakota Six Grandchildren: Blake Francisco, Wyatt Francisco, Indya Arvin, Callee Arvin, Asya Arvin, and Tessa Arvin Special Friend: David King In addition to his parents, Mr. Arvin is preceded in death by one sister, Edith Watkins; three brothers: George B. Arvin, Tommy Arvin and Scott Arvin; and one granddaughter, Katlyn Francisco. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home chapel by Bro. Bill Elliott. Burial will follow in the Hunt Arvin Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
