Bruce Puckett, age 79, of Leighton Road, in Irvine, passed away Thursday at his home following a long illness.He was born November 18, 1935 in Lee County, the son of the late Elvie and Mamie Rawlins Puckett.He was a self employed farmer and a surveyor for the Federal Government.He was of the Church of God Faith and had lived in Estill County most of his life.He is survived by: A Daughter: Venissa Lynn Cross (Chris Timothy)Brandenburg A Son: Timothy Bruce Puckett (Denise Painter) Irvine A Sister: Vermia Faye Puckett McKinney (Beveley) Miamisburg 2 Brothers: RC Puckett Irvine Ross Puckett (Edna Vaughn)Miamisburg 4 Grandchildren: Brandy, Cody, Alisha, Savanna 3 Great Grandchildren: Nevaeh, Tristian, Adian A Sister in Law: Edith Osborne (Donnie Isaacs) 23 Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by: His Wife, Thedus Osborne Puckett; 3 Sisters, Eudell Puckett, Hermia San Puckett Ramey, Joyce Puckett Stevens; A Brother, Elvie (Smog) Puckett Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Beverly Arvin with burial to follow in the Puckett Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
