Bobby Lewis Brandenburg, age 74, of Wisemantown Road in Irvine, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital following a long illness. He was born February 10, 1951, in Estill County, and was the son of the late Albert Brandenburg and Anna Crowe Brandenburg. He retired from CSX, and he was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and the American Legion. Bobby also served in the United States National Guard. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

4 grandchildren: Bobby Lewis Peyton Brandenburg, Rylee Brandenburg, Caleb Roberts, and Brooklyn Roberts
1 great grandchild: Emerson
His constant companion: Judy Woosley
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Shirley Blevins and Gary Brandenburg.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 19, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6 to 9 PM.
