Obituary for Beverly Thomas Arvin
Beverly Thomas Arvin, age 79, of Sandhill Road in Irvine passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born November 21, 1936 in Estill County and was the son of the late Nathaniel Thomas and Bertha Richardson Arvin. He was a former carpet layer, a retired bus driver with the Estill County School System and a current employee of the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was the Pastor of the Wagersville Community Pentecostal Church of God and had lived in Estill County most of his life. He is survived by: His wife: Marinda Gilbert Arvin 2 Daughters: Carolyn Sue Arvin Richmond Judy Combs Irvine 1 Daughter-in-Law: Charlotte Martin Arvin Berea 7Grandchildren: David Thomas Arvin, Morgan Elizabeth Singleton, Robert Lee Moss, Mekeshia Jordon, Malea Combs, Keturah Crank and Dylan Crank 8 Great-Grandchildren: Bentlee, Myna and Colton Singleton, Winter Moss, Cameron Combs, Jesse and Waylon Jordon and William Combs His beloved dog, Tater He was preceded in death by his son, David Leon Arvin, 5 brothers; Millard, Carl, Harrison, Paul and Butler Arvin and 4 sisters; Fannie Faye Tipton, Callie Arvin, Alice Lynch and Ellie Arvin. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 3, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Phillip Smith. Burial will be at the South Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Lee Moss, David T. Arvin, Justin Jordon, Paul Arvin, Gary Arvin and Wayne Abney Honorary Pallbearers: Cameron Combs, Roger Marcum and the staff of the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home
