Obituary for Betty Jean Day
Betty Jean Day, age 77, of Battlefield Memorial Highway in Berea passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the Berea Health Care Center after a long illness. She was born January 14, 1935 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Terry and Zettie Henderson Neal. She was a member of the Cow Creek Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was a retired waitress and had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Day. She is survived by: Her daughter: Rhonda Tipton ; husband, Paul, Berea 1 Sister: Shirley Gleason, Ohio 3 Brothers: Boyd Neal, Irvine Buford Neal, Ohio Malcolm Neal, Ohio She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Dora Wolfinbarger, Lillian Tipton and Bessie Wise and 4 brothers; Estes, Terry Jr., Hugh and Lawrence Neal. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 4, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Joe Lahrmer. Burial will be at the South Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
