Obituary for Bessie Mayse McKinney
Bessie Mayse McKinney, age 90, of Cedar Grove Road in Irvine, passed away Saturday, November 26th, at the Baptist Health Richmond Hospital, following a long illness. She was born September 27, 1926, in Lee County, a daughter of the late Johnnie and Mamie Horn Mayse. She had worked in the Estill County School System and was a member of the Irvine Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Vernon McKinney. She is survived by: A Daughter: Sheila Sturgill Madison Co. 1 Son: Charles McKinney Jefferson Co. 1 Sister: Sally Deaton Tennessee 4 Grandchildren: Jason Lee McKinney Alana Archibald Sebrina Keeney Tara Wierick 12 Great Grandchildren Caretaker and special friend, Lou Cassidy She was preceded in death by a Daughter: Mary Bravo; and 5 Brothers: Johnnie, Martin, Jessie, Willard, and Tommy Mayse. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the McKinney Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 AM Wednesday until service time.
