Bertha Mae Oliver Blanton, age 95, of Wallace Court in Irvine passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Irvine Health ; Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.She was born October 18, 1917 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late George W. and Sarah Cain Oliver.She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.She had lived in Estill County most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Blanton.She is survived by: 8 Daughters:Mary Lawson Ohio Blanche Lawson Ohio Betty Ekenbresher Ohio Mabel Winkler Irvine Frances Riddell ; husband, John Irvine Ruth Rison ; husband, Dewey Irvine Gladys Osborne Winchester Clara Christensen ; husband, Bruce Georgetown 2 Sons:Ben Blanton ; wife, Marion Irvine Walsa Blanton ; wife, Gladys Irvine 31 Grandchildren 64 Great Grandchildren 18 Great-Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Annie Banks and Gertrude Blanton, 1 sister, Drucilla Carmichael, 3 brothers; Sidney, Woodrow and Edward Oliver, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several half-brothers and half-sisters. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 2, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Sidney Sparks and Bro. Jerry Rose.Burial will be at the Hall Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
