Obituary for Bernice "Niecey" Smith
Bernice 'Niecey' Smith, age 65, of Highway 89 in McKee, passed away Friday, February 10th, at her home following a short illness. She was born November 17, 1951, in Jackson County, a daughter of Mary D. Smith and the late Farris D. Smith. She was a member of the Drip Rock Baptist Church and had lived in Jackson County all of her life. She enjoyed reading her bible. She is survived by: 3 Sisters: Mildred Richardson Estill Co. Bonnie Wilson Jackson Co. Jewel Isaacs Jackson Co. 2 Brothers: Anthony Smith Jackson Co. Glenn Smith Jackson Co. A host of Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by 5 Siblings: Porshia A. Smith, Deanna Smith, Bruce Smith, Cecil Smith, and Cleaborn Smith. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 1 PM at the Drip Rock Baptist Church by Bro. Keith Carr and Bro. Darrell Isaacs with burial to follow in the Sparkman Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 12 PM Tuesday at the church.
