Berl R. Helton, age 93, of Kirkland Avenue in Irvine passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the Stanton Nursing Home after a long illness.He was born November 20, 1919 in Estill County and was the son of the late Thurston and Della Barnes Helton.He was a retired employee with the L;N Railroad and was a veteran of the United States Army.He had lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Nora McIntosh Helton 2 Daughters:Elwanda L. Holland ; husband, Carlos Richmond Rebecca L. Arvin Irvine 1 Sister:Mary Estes Powell Co. 3 Grandchildren:Jeff Holland ; wife, Sherry, Chris Osborne ; wife, Michelle and Michael Arvin 5 Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 25, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Beverly Arvin.Burial will be at the Crowe Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Thursday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
