Barbara Lee Reese Hunt, age 80, of Geneva Avenue in Irvine, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the St. Joseph Hospital following a sudden illness. She was born June 26, 1943, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Hugh Bryson and Elena Tuttle Reese. She was a retired cosmetologist and former owner of Merle Norman and the Ladyaire Beauty Salon. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, the Marcum and Wallace Ladies Auxiliary and the Estill County Homemakers. She is survived by:

3 great grandchildren: Reagan Watkins, Beckett Reese Watkins, and Remi Gene Watkins
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Eugene Hunt, 1 sister, Peggy Walling, and 2 brothers, Joe Reese and Dwight Bruce “Ike” Reese.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 8, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Funeral Home.
