Archie Lee Angel, age 67, of Big Spring School Road in Irvine, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond following a long illness. He was born August 8, 1957, in Lee County and was the son of the late Arthur and Bertha Horn Angel. He was a Carpenter, and he had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

Michille (Scott) Riddell - Estill Co.
1 son: Joshua (Kim) Angel - Estill Co.
2 sisters: Dora Angel Newton - Estill Co.
Loretta (Bill) Kelley - Estill Co.
6 grandchildren: Timothy Conner Purdue, Taylor BreAnn Sutton, Taygen Gwen Perdue, Kyler Scott Riddell, Rilynn Gayle Angel, and Bastian Scot Bishop
6 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews, and 9 great-great nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Sonya Gail Angel-Sutton, 1 son, Jonathon David Angel, 2 sisters, Emma Angel-McIntire and Betty Anne Angel, and 1 brother, Arthur Jr. Angel
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 24, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Sparks Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
