Obituary for Anthony Glenn Freeman
Anthony Glenn Freeman, age 63, husband of Linda McDaniel Freeman, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Hospital following a brief illness. Born July 28, 1953, in Richmond, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jesse and Mary Ella Wood Freeman. He attended public schools at Hargett Elementary School and Estill County High School. He was the owner of his company, Freeman Excavating, in partnership with Gary Mullins. Glenn was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and a caring and supportive friend and co-worker to all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: 3 Children: Candy (Ron) Jackson Berea Christopher Glenn Freeman Manchester Kim Freeman (Jason Little) Winchester 7 Grandchildren: Brooke Jackson, Hunter Jackson, Kevin Freeman, Kyle Freeman, Meadow Little, Miley Little and Mark Little Glenn also leaves to mourn his passing a sister, Rosetta Kay (Henry) Sandidge of Nicholasville, and brother, Phillip (Gail) Freeman of Irvine, three nephews, Juneau (Mary) Calmes of Georgetown, Brandon (Betty) Freeman of Irvine and Casey Freeman (Olivia Crowe) of Irvine; an uncle, Ed (Ruth) Wood of Winchester and an aunt, Darlene Freeman of Winchester; a host of great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins; and many friends and co-workers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Clifton Freeman. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 21, 10 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Scott Beauchamp. Burial will be at the Rose-Freeman Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Thursday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
