Annie Jane Blanton Banks, age 55, of Crooked Creek Road in Irvine passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Compassionate Care Center after a short illness.She was born April 3, 1957 in Clark County and was the daughter of Bertha Oliver Blanton and the late Noah Delbert Blanton.She was a retired employee of the University of Kentucky Medical Center and was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Glyndon Banks.Survivors in addition to her mother include: Her son:Eric Lee Banks Estill Co. 8 Sisters:Mary Lawson Ohio Blanche Lawson Ohio Mabel Winkler Estill Co. Betty Erkenbrecher Ohio Gladys Osborne Clark Co. Frances Riddell ; husband, John Estill Co. Ruth Rison ; husband, Dewey Estill Co. Clara Christensen ; husband, Bruce Georgetown 2 Brothers:Walsa Blanton ; wife, Gladys Estill Co. Benny Blanton ; wife, MarionEstill Co. Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Gertrude Blanton. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 14, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Bill Wesley.Burial will be at the Hall Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
