Anna Margaret “Marge” Davis, age 99, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehab Center following a short illness. She was born April 26, 1924, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Enoch and Ida Mae Crowe Stamper. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Time Baptist Church. She was also a charter member of the Easter Valley Baptist Church in 1953. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:
2 daughters: Treva Caton - Estill Co.
Delana Stelly - Fayette Co.
2 sons: Joseph Mike (Deborah) Davis - Estill Co.
Edward L. Davis - Estill Co.
6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Prentice Roberts and Woodrow W. Davis, 1 daughter, Leila G. Brinegar, 3 sisters, Delberta Ingram, Velma Allen, and Sara Neal, 3 brothers, Junior, Jess, and Virgil Stamper, 2 grandchildren, Tracy Michelle Messer and Mark Thomas Thornbury, 1 daughter-in-law, Vickie Davis and 2 sons-in-law Forester Brinegar and Robert Stelly.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, December 4, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Chaney and Bro. Sam Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Hoover Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6 to 9 PM.
