Obituary for Ann Gabbard Franklin
Ann Gabbard Franklin, age 100, a resident of the Irvine Health ; Rehabilitation Center passed away Monday, September 9, 2013, at the Center following a long illness.She was born April 6, 1913 in Owsley County and was the daughter of the late Hiram Press and Mary Creech Gabbard.She was a retired General Electric employee and a member of the Irvine First Baptist Church.She had lived in Cynthiana most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Franklin.She is survived by: 4 Nieces and Nephews:Monty Gabbard Irvine Eva Mae Sparks Mt. Sterling Dorithea Nichols Mt. Sterling Joey Shearer Maryland She was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Mae Shearer, Callie Johnson, Pearl Stevens and Hattie Kieper and 3 brothers:Tolby, Otto and Billy Gabbard. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 12, 10:30 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Harold Calmes.Burial will be at the Battle Grove Cemetery.Friends may call after 9 AM Thursday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
