Obituary for Ancil Daniel "A.D." Noland
Ancil Daniel 'A.D.' Noland, age 93, of South Irvine Road in Irvine, passed away Sunday at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long life. He was born December 29, 1922, in Estill County, a son of the late Joe and Molly Gabbard Noland. He was a retired merchant and farmer and was a faithful member of the Williams Memorial Baptist Church in Ravenna. He was a World War II Veteran with the United States Army where he served in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for the past 67 years and was a member of the Estill County Cattlemen's Association. He is survived by: His Wife: Glynna Hays Noland A Daughter: Cynthia Callahan (Daniel) Irvine 1 Grandchild: Daniel Quenton Callahan Louisville Several nieces, nephews, and a loving church family He was preceded in death by a Wife, Hazel Henderson Noland, 6 Siblings, Elizabeth Noland, Virginia Hardy, Lillian Heilman, Martha Taylor, Fred Noland, and Joseph Noland. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Vincent Carman and Bro. Chris Winkler with burial to follow in the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
